On Friday 12th July something very special happened at West Kirby Arts Centre – the first Friday Live Songwriter Challenge live final. A capacity audience heard the 15 great songs of our finalists and what a wonderful evening it was.

The winner, chosen by the Judges, was Michael Eastaugh with ‘On the Sand’. Many, many Congratulations to him and his onstage band.

The popular vote winner, voted for by audience members on the night was Vou Vou Wyld (Nathan Stephens) with ‘Don’t Look Up’.
