I like writing songs but I’m not much of a singer/musician. Is it worth me entering?

Absolutely! It’s the song that is being judged not the performance. AND it’s fine to get others to help you record it and also to play at the finals Show if you are selected.

I write and play with electric guitar. Can I still enter?

Of course! You will however have to go through the p.a. (No separate or mic’d amps) but it’s ok to use a pedal board.

I sing without accompaniment (Acapella) is this ok?

Absolutely!

Do I have to pay to enter?

No – there is no fee for songwriters to enter & play in the Challenge. However, a ticket must be bought by others who support you onstage (and in the audience) at the FINALS event.
